Art Dodgen

I am a long time artist who is constantly working to improve my skills and share my work with the world! I have always had a passion for art of many kinds and, thanks to the support of my friends and family (thanks mom!) I have been able to develop my skills to the point they are now and gained a work ethic that will continue to drive them forward for years to come.
My goal as an artist is to create visual stories that others can draw emotion and meaning from. The creation of art is a very personal and meaningful process and the ultimate compliment to me as an artist is when the viewer draws the same feelings from a piece as I felt when creating it.
I adore feedback of any kind so please do not hesitate to fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page.

I am a high school graduate with honors and an alumnus of the Georgia Governor's Honors program as an art major. I am currently attending Kennesaw State University and will be graduating in 2022 with a BFA in Digital Animation.

I have received several awards for art throughout my school career. I also had the honor of being invited to display my art in the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia for a temporary exhibit. My art earned me the title of State Champion as a Mock Trial Courtroom artist in Georgia.

I am experienced with oil, acrylic, gouache, and watercolor paints, marker, colored pencil, graphite, charcoal, chalk pastel, cut paper, print making, assemblage, sculpture, synthetic and ceramic clay, and digital art and photo editing.
